The reliable and simple Aviation Weather app for Pilots and aerospace lovers. The METAR-Reader decodes and presents the current METARs of greater than 9500 Airports across the globe. Neither extra nor much less. A simple Color Coding permits a fast classification by VFR or IFR Conditions - as an option even by NATO Color State. Additionally the current TAF weather forecasts are retrieved and displayed clearly in a decoded type.
Runway crosswind components are mechanically calculated based mostly on the present METAR. A Widget which can be configured to show both decoded METAR or uncooked METAR / TAF is also obtainable.
As a bonus the app presents access to NOTAM for the weather stations, which might be downloaded, in part decoded and which may individually be marked as read. This method you can simply keep track of recent and related NOTAM.
New weather stations may be found worldwide by ICAO or IATA-Codes, airport identify or city. They may be organized in consumer outlined teams - e. g. on your most common routes or alternate airports. Additionally an auto-managed group always presents close by weather stations.
For use during the night time, there is a dark theme which may be activated either manually or mechanically by the system (depending in your Android version).
