GeoTag app was created to geotag (add exif data) the smartphone photos with excessive accuracy (while unable to sync with DSLR cams, GeoTag can add and edit geotags to any offline pictures saved in your smartphone). This geotagging app allows:

- present and share your present GPS location (and present all enabled geodata - see Screen Settings to set defaults);

- take photographs and video whereas displaying GPS location and accuracy on the display,

- add textual content and voice notes to photographs (available from Image mode - tap a photo you need to edit);

- show your pictures with geotags on the map (view your photographs in a geoalbum);

- share pictures;

- export geodata as KML, CSV or XLS information;

- add and edit personalized geostamps / timestamps to images and movies:

- edit the GPS coordinates and other geodata of the photograph, pretend photograph GPS.

With GeoTag you'll find a way to accomplish the following:

- accumulate geodata in agriculture, which is important in farming;

- take, edit (fake) GPS information of a picture of your cellphone camera for private use;

- take a photo with a geotag of a fallen tree, pothole or other everyday hazard you need to report;

- geotag a car that was parked against the foundations;

- in real estate: photograph a property on sale to make a PDF report and share together with your good friend...

Please, observe that the time required to obtain GPS coordinates together with your smartphone – usually 1-2 minutes - depends on weather, community coverage and different factors like close by bushes, buildings and easily being outside. Using the geolocation function of your system together with the digicam drains the phone battery.

How GeoTag works in detail:

GeoTag can be used outdoor (using indoors reduces GPS accuracy) on smartphones that assist location to take footage with GPS exif data and share them. With GeoTag on your smartphone you can:

in Camera Mode (you enter this mode if you launch the app):

- tune the settings to be displayed on the display screen (coordinates, time, address, etc.)

- take footage while displaying actual time coordinates, altitude and accuracy of your location;

- geotag footage - save your coordinates, weather, tackle, date / time of taking footage as exif;

- share your picture or geodata solely (coordinates, etc.);

- jump to the final taken image to enter Image Mode

in Image Mode:

- view pictures, their coordinates and placement on the map (maps: satellite tv for pc, standard);

- swipe between pictures from the final taken one to view or delete them and examine their map location;

- add a geostamp / timestamp to any image on any spot;

- choose Edit data to edit azimuth and different geodata;

- select colour / measurement / transparency of the geostamp / timestamp;

- export exif as kml file;

- add a textual content or voice comment (please note, that while a textual content comment turns into a half of the image file saved in exif information and could be shared, a voice notice just isn't added to the file and can't be shared along with it)

- pictures could be shared through Picasa, Google Drive … maintaining exif data

- long-tap a picture icon on map to edit location and azimuth.

in Gallery Mode:

- arrange photographs by identify / time of creation / distance;

- choose a folder to view PDF reviews;

- select a folder in your digicam to view pictures on the map;

- short-tap a picture to enter Image Mode.
