✳ TIP: If you're on wifi need to avoid late notifications, remember to set your Wifi Sleep Policy to Never: Menu Settings Wireless Networks Wi-Fi Settings Menu Advanced Wi-Fi sleep coverage Never.

* Quickly Friend/Unfriend/Block. Adding contacts as friends ensures you could always quickly discover them by tapping the To: area and tapping Friends.

* Choose from 3 completely different privacy ranges to manage how users can contact you without an invitation:

✓ Low privacy: All Facebook associates can HeyTell you. Any of your Twitter followers can HeyTell you. People who know your cellphone quantity or e-mail address can HeyTell you.

✳ TIP: To ship your location data to a contact, you have to have the MAPS web page open (tap TARGET button) if you ship the HeyTell message. For privacy causes, HeyTell doesn't send location unless you approve have Maps open.

✳ TIP: Back up your account so that you do not have to re-add pals when you change telephones or update ROMs. To do this, exit HeyTell and allow the Backup choices accessed through Menu Settings Privacy or Backup Sync.

✳ TIP: If you'll have the ability to send messages to associates, but you are not receiving them, ask your friends to reply on to you by tapping the lively dialog. It is probably going that the contact info they're using to seek out you does not match what you set for yourself and/or your privacy is larger. However, instantly responding to the conversation should at all times work! :)

✳ TIP: IF YOU GET AN INBOX FULL message, there isn't any have to delete the app or messages: This just means that your pal has to hear or reply to the messages you sent earlier than you can continue to send them messages. Once they hear or reply, you can carry on talking!

NOTE THAT CARRIERS MAY CHARGE YOU YOUR RECIPIENT FOR SMS INVITES, but they are not required--email invitations and direct connections to other HeyTell customers utilizing telephone, e mail, Twitter, Facebook are free!
