Parental control:
Zappelin alarm clock: Set the maximum amount of time your child can use the Zappelin app via the secure parent menu. .
Recent Content: See which ten objects your child last viewed by swiping to hyperlinks in the content slider.
Troubleshooting:
- High internet costs: The NPO Zappelin app is free. However, the data traffic required for streaming videos and making games and drawings available offline can lead to additional costs. By default you can therefore only download or stream when your device is connected to WiFi. If desired, you can indicate in the parent menu that you also want to download and stream if your device is not connected to WiFi.
- My favorite program is not included: Programs are limited in the app due to permissions.
- Full of memory: The app stores the games and crafts, so you can watch them without a web. If this causes the memory of your phone or tablet to fill up, go to the parent menu and delete the memory.
- App not available outside the Netherlands: Zappelin unfortunately does not have rights to offer the films abroad. The NPO Zappelin app is therefore only available for Dutch accounts.
- It is impossible to update the app: The Zappelin app is suitable for Android phones and tablets. version 5.0.
