Some technical details for installers:
TRIKDIS communicators that work with the PROTECT SMART SECURITY app are compatible with any alarm control panel. The communicators are directly connected to Paradox, DSC, Interlogix (Caddx) and Texecom exchanges by connecting to a central serial or data port.
They work with all other exchanges if they are connected to the exchange, to a telephone contact (TIP RING contacts). We display "Contact ID" events in a visual and user-friendly way. With such control panels, the system is switched on or off by means of a "keyswitch zone".
