Rewind lets you passively record your environment. This app constantly runs within the background and data everything your telephone hears, permitting you to save heaps of current recording if you hear one thing you wish to keep.
You can report from inside the app, by toggling the app notification (you can disable this within the settings), or by utilizing the app widget on your launcher.

Until you press save, the recording is held on the RAM (because a recording of the last X minutes needs to be repeatedly trimmed and that might be pretty inefficient on the system storage).
Permission Requests:
This app requires the Phone permission (READ_PHONE_STATE) so Rewind can stop/resume recordings during calls, so your name recording apps can work correctly. You can disable this performance in the settings.
