Tabaud app for smartphones is amongst the latest authorities efforts in Saudi Arabia to combat and comprise the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic through Apple/Google Exposure Notification API.
The app was developed by the National Information Center NIC of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority SDAIA, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Health MoH because the official contact tracing software in Saudi Arabia.
The app provides 3 main services for customers: notifying people if they'd contact with others confirmed to be contaminated with coronavirus; also, providing them assist by sending their health varieties to the Ministry of Health to provide them essential medical help based on the standing and progress of the case; in addition to enabling these confirmed to be infected with coronavirus to voluntarily share their checks' results with individuals they'd contact with during the past 14 days.
Tabaud completely respects user privateness. Use of the app requires no information or location sharing, as it depends on Bluetooth expertise to gather and refresh IDs randomly.
