An interactive virtual actuality fairytale for all ages with spatial sound. In a magical forest, a younger baby stares into the eyes of a fantastical creature and collectively they embark on an unforgettable journey.
Since its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, The Turning Forest has been captivating audiences around the globe with its award-winning spatial audio and pleasant visuals. Wear headphones, and use the controller to make music with the monster’s tooth, the birds and fish, and the icicles.
The Turning Forest VR experience was created by VRTOV and BBC Research Development’s audio staff. The sound was tailored from an unique soundtrack commissioned for “S3A: Future Spatial Audio for an Immersive Listener Experience at Home”, funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
