== Simulator ==

The simulator is NGSPICE, based on Berkeley SPICE 3F5. Compared to SPICE 3F5, NGSPICE has many additions, is extra stable and runs sooner.

The XSPICE extension provides event-driven simulation capabilities, allowing environment friendly simulation of digital and mixed-signal schematics. It consists of new code models for analog, digital and actual features, along with digital and real node sorts.

The CIDER extension provides system simulation (TCAD), by providing correct one- and two-dimensional numerical device fashions based on the solution of Poisson's equation, and the electron and gap current-continuity equations.
