YDIS Smart

YDIS Smart is an utility software specifically designed to help users perform inspections of Yamaha outboard motors.

YDIS Smart is designed to allow users to use a variety of the functions of the self-diagnostic system for Yamaha Marine merchandise, Yamaha Diagnostic System (YDIS PC version), on smartphones.

YDIS Smart App (“App”) is permitted for use by Yamaha approved dealers only, and may only be used by the Yamaha licensed supplier for the purpose of offering services to a customer’s Yamaha outboard motor. If the party accessing or downloading this App is not a Yamaha authorized supplier, then such party isn't licensed to use this App and may immediately discontinue usage and delete the App.

Please read and understand these precautions before using this utility.

・YDIS Smart is meant for use solely by service employees who perform providers and upkeep of Yamaha outboard motors.

・To use YDIS Smart, a devoted adapter and the registration information for the principle software program (YDIS PC version) shall be required.

・To allow the speedometer display, you should turn on the GPS function in your smartphone.

・Internet connection by way of cell data communication or wireless LAN is required during the person registration course of and whereas using the applying.

・To use YDIS Smart, you need to turn on the Bluetooth® operate on your smartphone.

・Bluetooth® is a registered trademark of Bluetooth SIG, Inc.

・Do not manipulate this software while the boat is in motion. Otherwise, a collision may end result. Yamaha shall not be answerable for any direct or oblique damages, hurt, or losses resulting from any accidents occurred throughout use of this software.

When you utilize this application, Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. will routinely gather the next information:

・Following data entered for user registration

-YDIS Smart adapter serial quantity, Country ID, Shop ID, Installation Key

・Some of the following engine info collected by the application

-Saved knowledge, Country ID, Shop ID

・Logging knowledge won't be collected mechanically.

We will use collected info to statistically analyze the usage of this utility and to enhance our providers.

Communication costs incurred to make use of this utility shall be borne by the person.
