CameraPro provides quick entry Android digital camera features. It is highly customizable together with different designs and menu preparations, helps varied overlays together with histogram, virtual horizon, stage meter, compass, and much more.

The following list gives an summary over the features. Features marked with * range between different phone models!
Camera Modes:
- Still (normal mode)
- Self-timer
- Time-lapse: report time-lapse image series (Android 3.0 : record time-lapse videos too)
- Burst: shoot a set of images as quick as the cellphone supports
- Bracketing: take up to 10(!) completely different uncovered images (can be used for HDR stitching with different apps)
- Anti-shake: take photos precisely within the second when the telephone is not moving

- Focus (autofocus, macro, infinity, continuous autofocus, face detection,...)*

- Video / professional video mode (HD video greater than 720x480p is in Beta and works only on some telephone models)
Expert video mode (excerpt)
- Automatic bypassing of recording time respectively file dimension limit via file splitting (short hole potential between files)
- Disable audio recording
- Adjust audio channels, sampling price, audio/video bitrates, frame rates, audio/video codecs, video container format, video dimensions*
- Supports 1080p video recording (e.g. Galaxy S2 GT9100)*
IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
- For video resolutions larger than 720x480 set focus mode to Continuous if out there. Else recording would possibly begin delayed (app seems as if it hangs for some seconds on the Samsung Galaxy S2)
- Zooming and film controls can solely be modified BEFORE video recording
- Changing from continuous autofocus to some other focus mode could be very slow
- Sometimes the direct HD video preview within the video player (started from CameraPro) reveals only a black display screen. When the participant is began manually the video play back is ok.
- If updating from CameraX fails, uninstall CameraX before putting in CameraPro.
- Video recording on some HTC gadgets and on all devices with Android 2.2 and older is just partly supported
