What is Getin Token and what is it for?
Getin Token (Mobile Token) is an application that is installed on the Customer's mobile phone. It allows you to generate passwords (authorization codes) that authorize transactions in the GB24 application for Corporate Clients.
When in use, Getin Token works offline, i.e. it does not establish an internet connection with any banking system. Internet connection is required only when downloading the smartphone application, activating the service or changing the PIN number in Getin Token.
Is Getin Token safe?
The generated personalization codes are unique thanks to the use of the latest cryptography methods based on a one-way function that uses a secret key to generate a message digest.
The personalization codes generated by Getin Token are unique and assigned to a specific transaction. The use of the function that verifies the compliance of the checksum in the application allows you to check whether the transaction is consistent with the instruction, thus preventing hacker attacks.
Access to Getin Token is secured with a digital PIN assigned by the User. The PIN is not stored in the application and is not verified on the application side. This means that even taking over the phone and decoding the application will not allow you to know the PIN number.
How to start using Getin Token?
By providing Getin Token to Corporate Clients, the Bank sends GB24 applications to a mobile phone two SMS messages.
In the first message, the Client will receive a hyperlink to the Getin Token application, used to download and install the application.
The second message contains the personalization code and the start-up password to activate the Getin Token service .
After entering the personalization code and the startup password, the user assigns his PIN to the application, which must contain from 4 to 10 digits.
You will then be prompted for your PIN with a flag that you must remember.
