The mail.de Authenticator App can be used as an additional security factor for your mail.de login and thus offers you extended protection of your e-mail inbox.
First, the function must be set up in the settings mode of your e-mail inbox. After successful setup, a current authenticator code will be requested when logging in to the webmailer, which you can generate with the help of this app.

This app was created using Phonegap and therefore (specified by Phonegap) only requires the right to access the Internet. The app does not use the internet connection because the code calculations are done locally.
