Zad Al-Ma'ad - Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyah

The Return of the Resurrection in the Guidance of Khair al-Abad

Authored by:

Muhammad bin Abi Bakr bin Ayyub bin Saad Shams al-Din Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyah, died: 751 AH

A precious book He is less than his counterpart, rather he is unique in his field, in which the compiler collected what is related to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, from saying, deed, or report. The book is about the life of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, with all the meaning of this word, but the author extracted from this fragrant biography sometimes jurisprudence, sometimes permissible and forbidden, sometimes etiquette, and monotheism at other times, and directives and instructions at other times. The method of the author is very clear, and his method is clear and unambiguous. He followed the method of the hadithers in correcting and weakening, then deduced the issues of jurisprudence from the most likely narrations, leaving the weak, and if he took it from a group of flags, it goes with the evidence wherever it went. He deposited in this book a number of precise issues and profound jokes that are rarely found in one book.
